This savannah creature stamps the sunburnt earth, where spicy and dry aromas mingle in the dust. Its primary aroma is a fantasy of golden tobacco – withered like a sheaf of leaves roasting in the sun – this is a hypnotic scent, the landscape beaten by cruel solar waves, radiating off the ground sparse with sweet and scorched savannah grasses. Real tobacco absolute is a complex scent alone, and in Rhino, this impression is punctuated with the spicy anisic snap of basil leaf, which offsets the earthy tones with a sharp verdant flash. Pink pepper, on the other hand, lends spicy fruitiness. The sun lowers, and the dusky shadows reveal an alluring cocktail of whiskey, coffee, and rum, notes that amplify the caramelised and burnished effects of tobacco, rounded out with patchouli, and spread across the plains as it is carried along a float of incense and oud smoke. Rhinoceros is sweet, mellow, and dry all at once. It is an incredible celebration of naturally complex tobacco.
