Vici plunges into the heart of a real battle of the senses. After a first attack where powerful essences of cardamom, angelica root and galbanum alternately prove themselves, a truce of incense liberates iris’ wonderful glow. Then the complexity of pure osmathus interrupts this truce, and a second assault led by the fortified aromas of musk and patchouli leave us defenseless. Fortunately, however, the delicate scents of vanilla and raspberry come together on a soft bed of cedar for a welcome pause. The fiery spices together with osmanthus and cedar joined forces summon courage and bravery.

What's for sure is that Vici is complex and beautiful, with the complexity and contrasts you come to expect of Aromatic Fougere fragrances. Vici begins complex and green, full of the greenest of notes: smoky galbanum, refreshingly herbal angelica, bitingly crisp basil, earthy celery seed, unctuous patchouli, and cool cardamom. To intensify and accentuate the greenery, Vici is drenched with aldehydes, adding definition and emphasis. Flowing throughout the structure of this fragrance is incense, pure, blushing, and almost sweet, reaching a rustic combination of osmanthus, lavender, and violet leaf, given its crunchy and raw complexion from cedar wood. Raspberry offers surprising respite, working beautifully with the composition as a whole.
