Triumph & Disaster Shearer's Soap was created to capture a timeless scent - the smell of the soap used by shearing gangs scrubbing clean after a hard day's work. Made from a translucent base high in glycerin (a natural humectant that attracts moisture) it's gentle on your skin. Poppy seeds assist exfoliation and provide a massaging effect that works in combination with the natural fragrance to create a complete cleansing experience.
  • Exfoliating body soap.
  • Suitable for all skin types. Gentle on skin.
  • Produces a moisturising and cleansing lather.
  • Strong classic spiced aroma.
  • Environmentally friendly. No animal testing. No silicones or parabens.
  • Made in New Zealand.

Apply directly. Rinse. Suitable for daily cleansing. After using, run the soap under cold water and store in a cool dry place. This helps prevent the soap from softening and will make it last longer.

Sodium Palmate, Sodium Palm Kernelate, Glycerin, Aqua, Fragrance, Papaver Somniferum Seed (Poppy Seeds), Sodium Chloride, CI 77491 (Dark Brown Oxide), CI 77499 (Black Oxide), Tetrasodium EDTA, Tetrasodium Etidronate.

okay and not really worth the money

It technically works well for what it is - an exfoliating soap; I can't justify the asking price for it considering the performance of the product. It has an odd scent, its seems to be a weak sandalwood, lavender esque one that (thankfully) doesn't last that long. Its not off-putting but its not preferred either. The bar doesn't last that long and the poppy seeds clump together in the bar over time, reducing its exfoliating capacity. Also the soap is drying on the skin, almost identically to conventional soap you can get at Coles or Woolies. Considering for a tenth of the price you could have an equally effective dove or pears soap plus a loofah or brush, it's not worth it. The only benefit is the convenience of it having its exfoliating agent in the bar. It works as advertised I guess, just not to the extent that a product of its price should.

Quintessentially masculine

An inky almost diesel like fragrance that's both unique and pleasing. Little scrubbers within the soap exfoliate well, overall a feeling of invigoration. Doesn't last long but totally worth it.

Favourite bar of soap I've ever used

Has a great scent, the seeds used definitely exfoliate your skin. You can really feel it after a shower. Highly recommend. Only reason I've given 4 instead of 5 is mainly due to the fact that the exfoliating benefits are lost if the soap becomes too saturated with water as the bar becomes quite soft. You can easily just leave the soap out of the shower to dry and regain its strength however.

Amazing clean feel

Feels like your ripping all the dead cells of your skin with this soap! It’s the love child of sandpaper and butter! Your skin will love you after ur shower wit this! My only negative on this is how quickly it finished! Lasts me around 20-25 washes.
