Thiers Issard Stropping Paste is an extra fine abrasive paste with diamond particles and aluminium oxide to finish and polish the sharpened edge. It is non-toxic and can be used on either the canvas or coarse leather side of the strop. Approximate cutting equivalent of a 10000 grit honing stone.
  • Extra-fine abrasive grade.
  • 1.6 micrometre.
  • Designed for use with all paddle or hanging strops.
  • Made in France.

Apply the paste to the Leather or Canvas side of a strop. Start with a little bit and slowly work up to avoid applying too much paste. 10-20 round trips stropping normally should be sufficient to get your blade in tip top sharp condition.
