The Shapton Glass Stone Holder provides a solid and stable platform for all your Shapton Glass Stones. With a rubber casing and nearly 2kg of bulk, it holds the stones securely and prevents slipping while you work. It also provides a great base when using the Shapton Glass Diamond Lapping Plate.

Shapton Glass Stones do not need to be soaked or stored in water. Before use, spray the Glass Stone with water, or dampen with a clean wet cloth and begin sharpening (you sharpen on the ceramic side, not the glass). Use extremely light, even pressure and lead with the cutting edge.
